Bookings for producers wishing to attend being taken NOW!
Perth Farmers’ Market is organising this year’s Perth Festival of Chocolate which will take place in King Edward Street, Perth on 21st and 22nd of November
The 2 day event, now in its 3rd year, is a celebration of all things chocolate and will take place within traditional market stalls. Trading times are: Saturday 9am – 9pm; Sunday 10am – 5pm.
The Festival takes place the same weekend as the Perth Christmas Lights Switch On which brings thousands of people into the city centre. A host of activities are being organised by the Council which will ensure a large footfall of potential customers.
Perth Farmers’ Market fought off stiff competition from the rest of Scotland to win the prestigious Independent Retailers Farmers’ Market of the Year Award.
The black tie event held in the Crowne Plaza Glasgow highlighted the importance of the independent sector to the overall Scottish economy.
Manager Adeline Watson said; ‘It was amazing to see the fantastic quality of the independent retailers that had been nominated for awards. The standard was extremely high in all the categories especially the Farmers’ Market section.’

There are between 40 and 45 stalls selling a variety of quality local produce.
The Producers themselves run their own stalls so you can come and speak directly with them, ask them questions about their produce and purchase fresh quality products.
To enhance your shopping experience we have stalls offering a range of quality arts and crafts.
We also offer one off stalls to local businesses to promote their products or services giving you the opportunity to find out what is available in the local area such as hotels or tourist attractions or to obtain information about a particular subject such as recycling.
Charities can also have a stall to sell tickets, give out information or collect funds.
Visit the Information Point at Perth Farmers' Market to find out about our stallholders, local tourist attractions, restaurants & coffee shops. Come and sign our Visitor Book; we would love to hear your views of our market.
