Perth Farmers’ Market Limited was established in April 1999.  It is a bona fide co-operative  registered with the Financial Conduct Authority.  As a co-operative it adheres to the internationally agreed principles and values of co-operation.

It is a not for profit organisation and exists to provide a platform for businesses to sell directly to the public.

• Via our website when you complete an on-line Application Form to attend our markets and events.
• Booking Forms we send you once your Application has been accepted.

• Telephone conversations we have with you.

Type of information we collect from you

We collect your name, address, email address; telephone numbers; social media content and information relevant to your application: trading name; place of production.

We collect other relevant information which is necessary for health and safety, legal or financial purposes and details which are required to ensure the smooth organisation of our events.

How this information is used

We use this information to inform you of events we are organising and to process your application.   Having booked an event with us we use your information to correspond with you regarding the event and keep you informed about changes to rules and/or necessary information prior to event attendance. We keep a record of your information so that we may send you details of any future events we are organising.

As an attendee at our events we correspond with you to keep you informed about new rules; changes to current rules; legal or financial issues and will send you information that, in our view, may be of benefit to you.

As an attendee of Perth Farmers’ Market, information about you is displayed on our website and on our social media channels in order to assist with promoting the market.

Who has access to this information

We pass this information on to our contractors: The Event Store who manages all events on behalf of Perth Farmers’ Market Limited and the bookkeeper who requires this information in order to process invoices/receipts and make contact regarding any financial queries.  We do not pass this information on to any other parties.
